The Uk BAP covers 391 species, 45 habitats and contains 162 local BAPs, the aim of this action plan is to create detailed plans in order to protect them. These BAPs will be undertaken b in each area, by a combination of people from amateur to proffessional experts, those who are able to supply funds, and government and non government representatives. For example in Cornwall the Cornwall Wildlife Trust and the Joint Nature Conservation Commitee (JNCC).

- I am currently a full-time student at Falmouth Marine school studying for a FdSc in Marine Environmental Management. I relish new challenges and as a result I am now the chairperson for the Student Union committee, I sit on the Falmouth Marine School Council and on the Board of Governors for Cornwall College, in addition to this I am a Student Ambassador, my main role for this is to assist at a Marine Biology based after school club for children aged 7 -12 years old. In my other life I work as a Bar maid in a local pub.
